  1. Situation:  All 37th Armored Regiment Alumni are alerted to begin planning and preparation for maximum participation in OPERATION GATHERING AT GETTYSBURG, the 29h annual Reunion of regimental alumni.  Reconnaissance confirms the area around the Gettysburg National Military Park provides an exceptional location for reunion activities.

 

  1. Mission:  37th Armored Regiment Alumni conduct reunion activities, 16–19 October 2025 in Gettysburg, PA to foster camaraderie, honor alumni and glorify our Regiment.

 

  1. Execution:      
    1. Concept of Operations: Planning is ongoing. Anticipated events schedule:
      1. Thursday, 16 OCT 2025: Deploy, Onsite Registration, “An Old Soldier’s Guide to the Tactical Realities of the Gettysburg Battlefield” & Rally Point Social.
      2. Friday, 17 OCT 2025: Tour Gettysburg battlefield & Regimental Dinner
      3. Saturday, 18 OCT 2025: Wiseman Meeting, Local Area Excursions & Mission Complete Social
      4. Sunday, 19 OCT 2025: Redeploy
    2. Coordinating Instructions:
      1. OPORD to be published NLT 15 APR 2025.
      2. Registration opens 16 APR 2025. 
      3. Registration closes on 28 AUG 2025.

    1. Assembly Area: Wyndham Gettysburg Hotel & Conference Center https://www.gatewaygettysburg.com
      1. Group Room Rate $169.00.  Instruction on how to register and receive this reduced rate will be provided with OPORD.
      2. Parking is complimentary.
    2. Class I and Class VI: available onsite.
