- Weather: Early May El Paso Weather: Anticipate temperatures with highs in the low 80s’s and lows in the mid 50’s. Dry conditions anticipated.
- Terrain: Fort Bliss has an area of about 1,700 square miles (4,400 km2); it is the largest installation in FORSCOM (United States Army Forces Command) and second-largest in the Army overall (the largest being the adjacent White Sands Missile Range).
- Composition of Enemy Forces: Foreign or home-grown terrorists provide an on-going threat to US metropolitan and tourist areas as well as United States Military installations.
- Friendly Forces:

- Assigned Forces: All 37th Armor Alumni are invited to this event. 37th Armor Veterans that are not Alumni Members should contact Kevin Seidl, kevinseidl@momentumfleetservices.com to get added to the Alumni before registering.

- Mission: 37th Armored Regiment Alumni deploy and conduct 2-37 Armor Open House and Battalion Ball 30 April -2 May 2025 vicinity El Paso, Texas to celebrate the history of 2-37 Armor, rally with personnel, and actively recruit new Alumni Members.
- Execution:
- Honorary Regimental Commander’s Intent: Success for this event is connected with, spending time and honoring the soldiers of 2-37 Armor. Special events include the Battalion Ball. We have a recruiting target of 125 new signups!
- Concept of the Operation: This operation is conducted in three phases:

11:30 - UTC Alumni redeploy to home station. - Phase 2: Deployment and Execution:
- 30 APRIL (D-Day):
0001-2000: Alumni individually deploy to AA Abrams Vicinity Salsa's Bar & Grill at the Wyndham Hotel at the Airport El Paso
2000-2200: Alumni Dinner at Hotel Pub, self - funded. - 1 May (D+1):
Breakfast in Hotel
0800: Depart Hotel Fort Bliss for designated linked up with 2-37 Armor.
0830: Briefing Rehearsal
09:30-1200: Soldier interaction and recruiting Activities.
1200-1600: Prep for Battalion Ball.
1630: Alumni Van departs for Battalion Ball

- Phase 1: Pre-Deployment Activities: Alumni are encouraged to register and make travel and lodging arrangements for the event in El Paso ASAP. Registration for this event closes NLT 22 April 2025. See coordinating instructions for specific events and hotel registration sites.

- Updates: FRAGO’s will provide updates and changes as required prior to deployment and during execution.

1 May: Battalion Open House and Battalion Ball. - Uniform: Alumni should bring appropriate clothing for cooler temperatures and inclement weather. The uniform for the Open House will be the 37th Armor Alumni Polo and long pants. Activities will occur rain or shine. The Uniform for Battalion Ball will be Black Tie / Formal Uniform / Dress. For Black Tie, Orders of Saint George are to be worn. Tuxedo should display the 37th Armor crest and the 25th Anniversary with WWII tank insignia.
- Charges: There are no charges for the open house. Prices are $55.00 per person for the Battalion Ball. Meal selections will be made as soon as practical.

- Hotel Coordination: Hotel reservations and payment is an individual responsibility. - Event Lodging: Wyndham El Paso Airport Hotel, 2027 Airway Blvd, El Paso, TX 79925 Phone – Press 1 For Reservations. Hotel rate is $125.00 until 22 April 2025.
- Deployment Transportation: Transportation by air, car, or sea is an individual alumni responsibility. Alumni should plan to arrive in El Paso by 2000 30 APR 2025 to complete check-in and participate in the Rally Point no-host social at hotel pub.
- Event Transportation: Alumni will provide ground transportation to and from the Open House as well as the Battalion Ball. Personnel without military ID are strongly recommended to get a day pass for the 1 May to facilitate access to Fort Bliss for both open house and the Battalion Ball.
- Meals: ALL meals will be paid individually except the Battalion Ball that will be paid at registration.

- Signal: Frequencies and Call Signs: Smartphone/Cell Phone will be the primary means of communications. Use of a Group Communication platform is likely and will be communicated in a FRAGO.
